i just bout a 2003 g35 coupe and the windows just stopped working both of them at the same time, they wouldnt roll up or down at all. i can still hear the click in the switch but nothing happens. does anyone knows what might be the problem?? could it be that both motors went bad at the same time

this kind of thing happens sometimes when someone takes off the negative battery cable with the windows rolled all the way up. whenever someone does take off the negative battery cable the windows need to be rolled down just a little bit. (just tap the switch for a split second) anyways with your issue like they said just take off your door panel and find the reset button and do the "window motor reset" procedure. If that doesn't work try sticking the key in the door lock from the outside and hold it in either the up or down position until the window moves. holding the key in one direction (lock or unlock i forgot which one) makes it go down and the opposite direction to make it go up. If that again doesn't seem to work then take out the window motor and do the cleaning procedure for it. you can find all the information you need on the web or g35driver.com

Driver's side window motor reset help

Hey guys,
So my window motor died and I tore it down to clean it, but it was beyond repair. I got a new motor, installed it and it works like a champ... except I can't reset it for the life of me! I've tried doing the reset procedure a dozen times and it didn't work because it always managed to over-lift when I shut the door and motor down half-way. After experimenting with the procedure and disconnecting the motor and the battery, I finally found a reset "combination" that worked, sort of... I held the reset button while I shut the window then released the button and opened the window all the way. Now the door will shut without the window rolling down, however, the auto up/down function doesn't work and It doesn't drop down when I open the door and motor up when I shut it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to reset it properly or fix the automatic stuff? I feel like I've tried everything and am out of ideas..
Thanks, Mike.
