What is the best looking tint on the DG? Suggestions/Pics please.

tint

I have the most legally dark tint on my car, of course the front is lighter than the back. I would go with the std. charcoal color, stay away from reflective or "rose" color tints. Have your dealer do it if you can so it can go under the warranty (perhaps, that is, you may not be able to get a warranty but if the dealer does it and screws something up they would most likely have to fix it). Good luck. :)

DG limo tint

My buddy had an 03 DG sedan, before he bought an 05 DG with a 6MT. He went with 5% Limo tint all the way around, it looked goooood. He had Arizona plates, so he never was bothered about his tint, but in CA you'll likely be noticed by officer John Law. As far as where to go, ask your friends where their's was done. Look for bubbles in their tint, especially close to the edges or in hard to reach areas over the back seat trunk deck. Personally, I wouldn't go cheap. If you find someone who does good work but sounds expensive, it may be worth it. I've heard of people paying $100-$200 dollars for five windows, to give you a rough estimate of high and low ranges. A little homework may go a long way. Good Luck.

tint

A really good tint job can cost up to $300, but may be worth it. Make sure you use the max gradient allowed by law in your state as advised by Andy and he is very correct as CA has such bad gang problems they (the cops) want to be able to see inside the cars. Of course your front will be lighter than the back if done right. Good luck! :)

Black....definitely black....no question. I have DG w/ 35%/20% and it looks great! I don't visit this site much, as I use G35Driver.com all the time....so I don't know how to post pics on this forum. Email me with your email address & I can send them to you.

I disagree w/ jimmyc13. For the Diamond Graphite, I went w/ a gray tint. It seems to match better w/ the color. We're limited in Colorado w/ % of tint, so I have 27% all around & I like it. I can send you some pics if you email me an address. I'll try one here...................

Hmmm...I've never seen a gray tint before...it's looks close to regular tint. Yours looks good too! When "wasn'tmeG35" asked if silver-type or black, I said black, because I was thinking of the silver/reflective type tints....which IMO, totally RUIN the G!

Yes, a gray tint that I think matchs the DGM color very well. I know the pics don't show it well, but I think it looks great together. It's made by LLumar. I think the product number was #pt28? It will look better than black & WAY better than any silver ones. Good luck.
