Custom G35 Nav Screen

I have an 06 coupe with no navigation

So I bought I 7inch Magellan GPS and I want to find a way to attach/stick/build it into the cubby hole in the dash. I do not want the cubby to close, I want it to be a permant "in dash" feel.

Any ideas or suggestions on how best to do this? Has anyone done this before? It wont need to be wired to the car at all because it is strictly a GPS, and 7 inches is about how wide the cubby is already, I just want it to look clean, and flush, while being sturdy.

I haven't seen anyone do that. You'll need some kind of hard wired power of course.

It's a metal bracket behind the radio connects to the top where the clock is.

(I had to modify it to make it fit with my Dvd Unit)
I did't want to use the plastic peace that it came with

He want it to be flush so he has to probably to take it to a custom audio shop and have them built something unique for him!

Alright everyone, I have completed the install and it looks AWESOME! It has already been mistaken for a stock in dash unit. I will post pics tomorrow when I have more light.

PS. The reason I didn't go Double Din is because I didn't want to spend $1000 plus have to buy a center console kit. I like the stock set up for the most part and I wanted to make use of the cubby space.
