Hey everyone I went to a test and tune at the local drags last night. My best run was as 14.3 at 97.5 mph with my wheels slipping off the line. I have a 06 G with high flow kenetic cats, magnaflow exhaust, 5/16 plenum, jwt pop charger with z tube and I set my ecu to aam to be tuned or something like that and it's automatic. I would absloutally love to get a supercharger. My car has 121,000 miles on it and I've heard that a supercharger puts more strain on the crank and more overall pressure on the motor. I would like to know what y'all would suggest esp for my high miles even though she handles like a champ! I would like either the stillen stage 2 supercharger (possibly the stage one) or the Turbonatics stage one "tuner kit" if I went the turbo route and hopefully I'll have the money by march

The only time I drove a SC car was 8 years ago, test driving a Saturn Redline, doing 100mph on the highway with the salesman. It felt awesome. I really wanted that car at the time, but just couldnt afford it. Good thing cuz they dont make them any more, unless you count the cobalt.

I don't especially like the idea of how a SC operates, compared to Turbo.

i dont understand the change of 8hp... lol... GUARANTEE its just a slight ecu tweak... they figure they have to rob you a few hp since its their budget brand name. so dumb.... you never get what you pay for in this country anymore

Real tampons = Duct tape (think bikini wax).

Also handy for having in the car; It's my emergency front license plate mount if I get the attn of a local LEO.

I keep my plate in the trunk. Nothing is on or going on the bumper as a bracket short of the Stillen model that uses the threaded tow insert and at $70 I'm not in a hurry to get one. I'd consider it after a few warnings or stops by the Police though.
This is enough of a military town to offer lots of out of state cars holding to their standard of Home Rule and many of those are not mandated to have front plates.

Yeah .... especially when pulled over if you can just activate the hidaway as they are at your driver door window and say:

" Golly officer, it was there this morning. Are you sure you didn't see it ? Let's have a look. "
