hello, well first off this is my fist post on any forum...i currently own a 2007 g35hr...i recently did a caliper swap on my sedan for the akebono calipers from a g37.I started to feel the clutch pedal little weird so i decided to bleed it ..now it wont do its job..

the pedal gets pressure when the car is turned off ,as i star driving it losses pressure then it gets the pressure back , for some reason while driving ...i need help called several shops some say the Slave Cylinder, others pedal ... i tried bleeding it ...sorry about spelling and i posted on the wrong topic ...am barely getting the hang of this

I'm guessing something you did procedural wasn't quite right and this might be one of the trickier things to deal with as a DIY. I'm not the guy to offer any helpful info but someone will catch this and offer up something of advice.
Air in the system can happen or the correct amount and type of fluid is essential.

In the meantime, if you have any friends more advanced in this type of car work, see if you can get a hand with it.

If you are handy doing a search, look up video on youtube for brake/clutch fluid issues procedures for infifinit . There is a lot out there and some are set up as DIY training step by step.

It's possible you need to replace all the clutch fluid and bleed the system again. You could have introduced air into the system when you bled it. It could be a slave cylinder or the hose.

Dis this problem occur before you bled the system?

What you describe may be normal on these cars. When I joined up here a few years ago the one revelation I was happy to learn was the 2/3 pedal travel before it engages. Those that posted about it said exactly what I was thinking.... all of us who drive manuals and always have never had another car that felt the same as for point of engagement. It takes getting used to but some just get a different pedal mod / upgrade.

There are a lot of things I like about it. Quality of manufacturing is top notch. Very sturdy hardware vs. OEM. The difference is allowing you to dial in the release point on your clutch. It takes a little bit of fine tuning but when you get it dialed in it feels soooooo good. The OEM clutch and release point in our cars is a little too far off the floor for me and a lot of other folks.

I have the Rev3 RJM AFP Clutch Pedal and Wilwood MC and have them installed for almost 2 years now. It was the floppy clutch pedal getting stuck halfway that finally had me cussing. I kind of took your route but also replaced the slave and the lines...still need to put new clutch in then dial in pedal again so who knows could be quite a different feel. I'm stoked.

My .02 the pedal itself totally changes/improves drivability of the car. Especially if you live where there are a lot of hills.

My bet is some of the cars that have pre-mature clutch wear is partly due to the threshold these cars have that is so different.

Certainly, some of it is simply driver's who are not well versed in a manual trans but thinking about the late engagement point, that just begs a driver who won't knowingly adjust themselves to it to have the clutch slipping a lot more often.

I got used to it and realized the sooner the better per that wear factor. I also use my seat adjustments more in this car to get my 'fit' and driving position more pursuant of my sweet spot for the clutch. At 5'11", I end up sliding closer to the pedals than most cars and tilting the seat base and back-rest more to compensate.
Driving comfort is not lost but it is conscious planning as I often find it's easier ingress/egress to move the seat back ie; driving position and getting in or out position are not ideal in my case. No idea if the RJM would correct that though - lol

My seat seems to have a mind of it's own and tilts whenever it wants...total $hit $how...also I'm 6'1 with a 13 size shoe. The pedal gives you a little more distance from the brake pedal which is gooood. This @^&%*@&^%$ seat though is going to keep me cussing for a while...trying to get it dialed in just right before disconnecting switches but it keeps moving...I think my car is totally "F-ing" with me.

The problem with our seats is the parts are not sold separately so you have to find someone parting out a seat or get a used one. The seat in my FX is starting to act funky and in afraid I'll have to get an entire used seat to fix it.

Haven't heard too much about the seat problem but thinking back on a few, maybe they are all the same type of malfunction. I'd have thought the motors/controls would be pretty straightforward but here must be a circuit board or module of some sort ?

I was going to suggest to muderface trying a few sprays of electric switch cleaner but the controls either move the seat or not.

Maybe some thin wiring that is worn and touching metal to give oddball signal / timing as the seat moves.
