I have read about this a lot but all people say is closed deck is stronger. The VQ35DE i hear is open deck which is not good[thmsdn]. But anyway i heard you can also convert from open deck to closed deck? How much more hp would a block be able to handle if it was closed vs open. I just want to understand the general principle of both. Please only respond if your sure you know what your talking about.
