Wouldn't it be cool if you could access, for example, weather.com (and/or other websites) while riding along? Imagine seeing weather radar on your nav screen.

I did a search and didn't find anything on this topic, so hopefully, this is not a repeat.

well guys, dreams do come true!!! if u put ur quick stop resource as "other" when u press it and if ur near a strip club, it actually gives u directions....i used it once and all my friends were incredibly impressed.[] no skank factor though....[boink]

viczeva, give detailed instructions on how to do this!!! haha, i didnt quite understand what you were saying to do before... i have my user defined option set to nightlife, but the nightlife feature doesnt show strip clubs... what is this other function you refer to?

I suppose you're right, but I would settle for a lock-out feature then, similar to the "disabled while driving" feature we all hate so much, just to get that option.

I would too...I think that's the current idea. I saw "Microsoft Car" at a career fair in college, and they were demoing basically Windows CE for your dash. It locked out everything except car control (similar to current NAV systems) when the engine was on, but when the car was stopped, you could do just about anything. This was 2 years ago...I wonder why we haven't seen it in cars yet?

When the engine was on? I always program when the motor is on...I do it during warmup, or when its hot and I want the AC blowing while I program
