Gives me more bite coming out of the turns at the track.
Most of you also have this from the factory, but a far less effective viscous type.
ATS is a clutch type and usese carbon plates.
SD is a little far from where I am. Maybe @ the track?dwagner003 said:Well it looks real good.. Hopefully we can catch a red light together sometime in So. Cal.
Quite simply put it RAWKS!Zoomzoomers said:Man you have a ATS carbon diff? How does it feel Clint? How does it compare to the stock diff? I know you track your car often.
Damn..............Clint was beanie-bombed. For the love of all that's holy, is no one safe?!!?!???THX723 said:Oh snap! I just remembered that I wrote a full review of the ATS carbon LSD here @ 6mt, but that whole "review" section is deleted?

I consider myself to be of average intelligence with a solid level of reading comprehension. Admittedly, I'm still a novice in this world of import high performance cars, modifications and track racing.THX723 said:I didn't recognize the 'performance mods' thread because it use to be so dead in there.

So reading your post felt like I was reading this, "After the install the typical clutch-type thingy techy talk, disc, 8 turns, pricey, disc to disc, hip bone connected to the back bone, back bone connected to the neck bone techy talk techy talk . . . improved performance. The ATS was again seamless in its operation on the track. The LSD ( I had no idea he did drugs) clutch engagements were fluid and progressive as advertised. I didn’t notice sudden jerks or disruption of power – like butter."
I do understand that it greatly increased the performance of your racing experience overall
Everytime I think I know something about our cars, I get humbled and edumacated some more. Evidently I still gotta do my homework. Nice post Clint, one of my goals in life is to fully understand what you're saying
