I have never heard of the "F" on the plate, but that doesn't mean it isn't right.

It may be time for some new shocks since the car is over 4 years old now.

6MT= sport suspension (not to mention the other as mentioned tell tales).

Only possible way the car doesn't have the sport suspension is if the previous owner, in a misguided attempt to soften the ride installed the non sport suspension.

Check your tire pressures and then consider the following.

Different tires.

Tokico D-spec shocks with a set of used non sport springs, setting the shocks at 2 or 3 clicks above full soft.

Tein CS or HKS LS coilovers.

Infiniti may market and tune the car with a measure of luxary, but the core that they built on still has a measure of sporting intent, meaning some things will still show in the ride and drive, in spite of how they tuned the chassis.

Just to say it, the non sport suspension doesn't really change things, granted you do get 10% softer springs, but you get shocks that are dumbed down, which creates it's own set of tradeoff's/problems that effect the ride and drive experience.

There is only one "true" way to tell. Here are the steps...

1. turn off your motor and let car sit for 30 seconds. You MUST be very precise and measure off 30 sec exactly!

2. turn your ignition to the "on" position

3. turn on your left blinker for exactly 3 blinks!

4. turn on your right blinker for exactly 3 blinks!

5. turn on your hazard lights for exactly 5 blinks!

6. turn your ignition all the way to the off position

7. wait 15 seconds exactly then turn off completely

8. next time you turn your ignition to the "on" position you should hear a female voice say, "you have a sports suspension", three times.

That is how you know for sure. Don't be fooled by anyone telling you otherwise.

j/k best way to check is to call an Infiniti dealership and tell them your VIN number and ask them for the vehicle's option list. Good luck.

Sport tuned suspension is a car feature that can be tricky to decipher. It refers to the suspension design typically seen in sports cars and high performance sedans, but you don’t need to own a sports car to enjoy the benefits and you can also try it now for lookup license plate. Features like sport tuned suspension use technology like adjustable dampers and stabilizers to help you maximize your driving experience.
