Doubtful. The American car shopping is generally pretty idiotic. Autos outnumber manuals to the point of eclipsing them, even on luxury cars. Most BMW, Lexus, and Mercedes dealerships rarely have a manual on hand. When I looked over the list of G35 coupes coming in last year to my dealership, only a five or so were manuals of the 35 they had in 2002.
