Has anyone ordered the Service Manual from infinit? Is it worth the $315?

http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/product.asp?dept_id=41&sku=SM3E-1V35U2

I ask because I just got my car back from service. The 2 things I asked them to do were to activate auto-lock and adjust the auto headlight *turn-on* delay to 10 seconds (not options that I can program without a scanner). The dealer told me that neither of these things could be programmed.

When I bought my Sequoia, I ran into the exact same issue. I had to go so far as to order the suplemental Service Manuals for the truck, and *SHOW* the dealer that these variables *could* be programmed with their equipment.

Oh, and why is the coupe's manual $40 more than the sedan's?

Go back with a print out of the thread from Fresh Alloy. Tell them they're full of shit and that you've contacted their service manager.

I haven't heard about adjusting the delay, but I KNOW you can change the auto lock. Semi is correct!

Thanks guys. After finding the BCM table, I think I need to clarify one thing. When I say "auto lock", I mean "lock on roll" or "lock when in gear", so that the car will lock the doors when I drive.

Juding by the title of the features in the BCM., I don't think either "Door lock-unlock" or "Anti-lockout" apply to what I am actually looking for. :'(

I did notice that there are setting for adjusting the sesitivity of the headlights automatically coming on! [:)]

For anyone else, the link to the chart is:

BCM Chart

Thanks for the help with embedding links!

you also need to put quotes around the the actual URL

[ url = "http://whatever" ] text [ /url ]

Quite right. Infopop can deal without the quotes, but it appears Snitz cannot.
