Oil Changes

Went for my first free oil & filter change last week. Got a free wash and G35 is super happy with new lube. Thanks South Motors Infiniti, keep up the good customer satisfaction![thmsup] You feeling me Creig?

Zell, that is great customer service as my dealer here in NY doesn't offer free oil changes.

no freebies here either. [irk] But I'm due for my first in a few weeks. By the way, I'm used to changing oil every 3000 to 3500 miles and that's what the dealer says as well, but Inifiniti.com lists the oil changes at 7500 (at least for the coupe). What are your thoughts on this?

I had to pay for my first oil change at scott infiniti, it was $26 bucks, I thought it would have cost more.

Just changed mine myself. 20 bones for 5 quarts of synthetic, and 8 more bucks for the Fram "Double-Guard" filter. Not cheap as far as do-it-yourself goes, but easily as much as you'll pay out. Plus I get the satisfaction of knowing it's synthetic (Infiniti verified that it was cool to use) and I did it myself (no boobs to f up my investment)!

The free maintenance came on my car for the first 24K miles or 2 years. Well needless to say as you all know I drive an OUTRAGEOUS amount so I already finished off all my free oil changes in LESS THAN A YEAR. I am already at 33K on my G. Still good as new...been super impressed. Although I just took it in for its 30K mile check-up...$400 FREAKIN DOLLARS! I was like WHAT THE F*CK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway I did it just so Infiniti can't bitch at me if anything goes wrong with my car...been keeping up with maintenance at the same dealer for a while now. Service has been great at West Houston Infiniti.

My next oil change will be free, but the third one and on I will pay... The service manager told me that he will hook me up with unlimited $19.99 coupons for oil changes [rockon].

Chaz, did you pay extra for that? My dealer had a special package that offered free maintenance, but they charged for it.

Yes Kloh I did pay extra for it although I can't remember exactly how much...plus I got free tire rotation and the works. So I got that package. Loved how they also vacuumed and washed my ride as well...great service!
