I just could not resist her, I drove by the car lot a couple of times and she was begging for me to buy her. How could I resist? The C6 might not be out until 2005, and by then I will probably be ready for another car.

Probably the same motor with a little more hp. As far as gas mileage, I get 18 in town and about 27 on the highway. Amazing for a car that is fast and quick, I wish the G got this good of mileage.

I've actually been averaging a little better than that with my coupe now by being MUCH more frugal with 5th and 6th gear. By shifting at 2000-2500 when regular driving, and still letting her loose from time to time, I've jumped my average total distance on a tank from 250mi to 300mi.

Something to think about.

That sounds pretty good. It is amazing how driving habits affect gas mileage. On one trip to Biloxi I set me cruise to 55 to see what would happen. My mileage jumped to 31 mpg, but I was going crazy. I jumped it back up to 75 mph and fuel to about 26 mpg, much better. 55 mph on the highway feels like crawling!
