I've never understood the concept of louder is better. I have always driven Japanese cars, and like the idea of stealth. I know its a matter of preference, but I just don't get the Harley mentality. Why would I want my smooth ride to deafen me? Don't get me wrong, when you rev it up it should definitely make an impact, but a more refined hum I believe is better than an extra loud gurgle (like most modified Honda's you can hear from a mile away). Is it an attention thing, like getting a yellow car? I like calling these "LOOK AT ME" cars. Any other thoughts on this?
