Anyone heard of rumors, etc. regarding development of a convertible version of the G35 coupe? IMHO, if executed properly, that might be the perfect car. Was thinking about the choice between a convertible sports car (MR2, Miata, etc.) and/or a sport sedan (don't ask why), and a G convertible would be the perfect solution. I bet they'd sell every one and have a waiting list to boot.

Rumors and it will not be happening.
The 350Z conv is the only one that Nissan/Infiniti will be making but there was a dealership that took ten coupes and chopped them with a real hard top convertable ala Lexus.
They all had custom paint jobs and pre-orders with $10G non-refundable deposits.
Oh the price, I am sorry [:I] $75,000 each [bowdown]
If you have the money, I guess anything is possible [bigeyes][angel]
If enough people would be willing to put the money down [angel]maybe it can be done again but it was not and will not be under warranty by the factory. So that is something to consider [boxing]
Personally I love the hard top coupe but I can't wit for the new 2005 Skyline R35 oooops did I say that (skyline R35 in 2005 shhhh[bigmouth])
