I was going to ask the same thing, no mention of supercharger or turbo. 400HP on NA, NEVER!

That's not thowing stones.... nor should it offend anyone. It's the one lacking piece to the puzzle that begs the question.

There must be more to the resume b/c I've rarely seen any claim over stock motors that isn't documented on a reputable dyno with the turbo or s/c specs-brand. There has to more to the story if it's not a typo.

O P , don't sweat it. There is a keen interest here in what works and how-to / cost-of for getting appreciable hp gains.
A 400 hp G that is a dependable DD will have potential buyers standing in line.

I clicked the link and theres no supercharger or turbo from what I can see, there also isn't a nos bottle in the trunk so I too am completely puzzled.

Not even close to 400hp. MAYBE 270whp. Especially with the crap quality megan headers. You need long tube headers and cams and lightweight fw and crank pulley, full exhaust, intake, plenum, to even get 300whp. A 4.3 stroker kit is the ONLY way to get 400hp n/a

Not sure where it's priced at versus an 86 k-miles 2005 (+ $2000.00 ??) but there are a lot of add-ons.
Seems like an investment of gaining 150 hp over stock (true rwhp) would put the thing at or near his asking price and likely be a good deal. Otherwise, short of some wheeling/dealing or actual hp documentation, this one will be avail for the long term.
Unfortunately,trusting it's 400 hp means trusting everything in text form on the post.

Most would know better than I when it comes to upgrades / $$ value on a pre-owned car and among the listed goodies, photos support most of the other claims !!

I need to apologize for making the claim of 400hp. The previous owner told me that he had it dyno'd at 400hp. I should have known better than to post an unsubstantiated claim like that. I took the car to a local shop where they did a rolling dyno test. The best the car did was 348hp on 93 octane. The car is very reliable and everything listed in the description is just as it is except the mileage is actually 85,800. I'm willing to reduce the price of the car by $1500 for a few cosmetic issues and for it NOT having 400hp. Let me know if you're interested. You may call me directly at 540-623-4082 to discuss. Speaking for myself, no apology is needed / was expected. I believe many of us were just hoping you'd come back to the issue to provide more details or follow up on questions related to it. You've done that.

348 is no slouch - 298 being OEM and not rwhp on a dyno. You are well over 50 hp in gains probably closer to if not 60 hp.
That will likely draw interest by many here who want to pick your brain on what other things the orig owner did.

To gain that w/o the work, fuss and expense of turbo or a s/c is a blessing. GLWS

RedHot is at 310 whp with an SC..... I'm at 380 with a turbo. To my knowledge, a g35 with full bult ons dyno'd at 297 to the wheels. The only non-bolt on mod he has is the clutch and i doubt 50 horsepower comes from that.

N/a can't hit 340whp without long tube headers and cams, lightweight flywheel and crank pulley, plus all the other obvious boltons. But it all depends on the dyno. Probably just a high reading one

400hp and over 30k in mods? Sorry to say this but You got scammed. In engine mods I’ve got around 12-15k and I’m at 550hp and in total mods around 22k
