I might as well start up the Arizona chapter of 6mt (which I assume stands for 6speed manual transmission. I'll be joining the PA club in the summer, but for now Arizona it is.

There were 35 coupes sold through my dealership in 2002 last I heard. I think there's another dealership up in north Scottsdale so say double that. I think there's another in Tucson and one up north as well. There have to be enough people with interest. I'd talk to the dealership about whether or not Infiniti would sponsor it.

you should do that, for two reasons

1) youre older than I am
2) you have a g and I dont

good idea though, i think we could get a lot of interest through that, though I'm not sure if theyd go for it. give it a shot!

If anyone starts up a Phoenix chapter please let me know. I live in Mesa and would like to do a club thing. If anyone is looking for wheels let me know, I work at a shop in Tempe, AZ called Wheel Specialists. We're a wholesale tire/wheel warehouse and we distribute about 50-60 brands of wheels. Everything from high end to commodity priced wheels.

Now all you need is wheels

I just joined the group tonight. I purchased my G35 black/graphite/6MT/SPORT/AERO/PREM in November. I haven't done anything to it, I've been extremely busy lately. I'm ready to do some modifying to it and am considering either 20 inch wheels or having my stock 18" 7 spoke wheels chromed. Anyone know of a good local chrome shop and pros/cons either way. I've contacted 2 online shops about wheels and both said they do not have ANY wheels that will work with my Brembo brakes. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

As far as an AZ club, I'm all for it. By the time any club is started, I'm sure I'll have my windows tinted, grounding kit installed as well as the aluminum pedal kit, skyline badging and splash guards. I wanted to install the injen cold air intake but have heard many warnings not to due to the Mass air flow sensor problem. I will wait until they work this issue out. I will post pictures as soon as I get my car back from Scottsdale Infiniti.

I dont think anybody has been willing to take the initiative to set up a meet for all of us in AZ. Here goes. It is very far in advance so no excuses. Hot Import Nights is coming to Phoenix on 15 OCT. I know that there are a lot of G35/350Z owners in AZ who will be attending and if we can all come together to make a strong showing, maybe HIN will come to AZ again. For those of you who were at NOPI nats you know what im talking about. NOPI had a very weak showing. If you can commit to being there, add your name to the list.
