i should say upfront that i haven't seen this car in person yet.

even still, from what i have seen, i cannot imagine why someone would get a g37-c over a 335i...

I have about $10,000 reasons why someone would get a G37 over a 335i!

I have a 2011 G37 convertible. It has everything on it except the spare tire. To get a spare tire on an infinity convertible will cost me 700 so I passed.

In any event the problem with it is that it gets very poor gas mileage. Around town it gets only 15.7. On the highway it gets about 25.

I haven't seen a G convertible yet but the Z converts are UGLY. Storage area is too long and doesn't look right

That's sorta typical, depending on a lot of factors, for any G.

I've never seen a convertible I liked.

Welcome to 6mt. I'm in Sarasota almost every week.

Your fuel economy is fairly typical. I wish my car got 25 mpg on the highway.

27-28+ on the highway is normal. Anything less should be considered "bad".

I haven't figured out highway mileage in a while, but it seems my FX gets batter gas mileage than my sedan.
