Now my rear end looks complete :) I like how the splash guards look kinda like a lip kit. Took the dealer a couple of hours to install. I got a chance to take some pics of the diffusers also. Enjoy!

very nice lookin. thankx for the pics of the diffusers. and for some reason the splash guards on this car actually make it look good and have a clean look to them. Now if Infinity could advance to making a complete diffuser kit like ferraris to cover the entire bottem. But na great job on the car man. [clapper]

Very nice, diamondG... I've been wondering what the splash guards would look like on a DG. Any chance you got more pics from different angles?

I suppose you're spoiler was "factory-painted" but dealer installed (presumably because you could not find one already with the aerokit).

I'm soon to be in the market for a G35C. If I do not find one with a spoiler, I'd like to have it installed -- do I have to worry about the paint matching? Or is that no problem as long as the dealer installs it with the appropriate infiniti spoiler?

If the spoiler is painted by some 3rd party, then surely color matching is an issue.

Anyway -- does your look just like the factory installed aero kit?

Thanks!

kloh: I will take more pics of the G for you tomorrow (7/12) after the tint job :)

6mtdreamer: You shouldn't have anything to worrry about if the dealer orders and installs your aerokit package.

DiamondG, looks great! [thumbup]

It looks like the fronts are very small. Once you've had a chance to put them to the test, would love to know whether or not they make a big difference.

Regard,

-Ken

jtb: No charge for order and install of the aero package. That's what made the deal sweet!

craigdred: No I'm not from Miami hehe. It's good ole Baldwin Park, CA. Is that where you're from? How's the weather? It's 105ish over here [rage]

Hi,

I only see red x's, and I am very curious to see the diffusers installed or uninstalled. I looked at the search items and unfortunately this was them only post with a picture. If anybody could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I installed my spoiler myself.
Let me tell you, I don't think I have ever sweated as much as I did the day I installed them.
To be honest, it was quite easy, just nerve racking.
The OEM spoiler from Nissan/Infiniti comes w/ prepainted factory spoiler, airdiffusers(do these things actually work? they're still sitting in my trunk.) and a template.(Thank BUDDHA!!!)
The template has anchor points on where to tape the corners on to the trunk.
Once the template was on straight, I tapped my starter holes in the trunk(ouch)and I proceeded to use a uni-bit drill bit. Started the holes smalls and progressed to 10mm. The wing fit like a glove.(Thank Buddha again!!!) Blew away all the metal scraps, peeled the adhesive, bolted the sob down. voila! My car just got that much badder asser.(haha) Saved myself 550 from the dealer, and prolly lost 12lbs by DIY.
But seriously, do the diffusers really do anything? I was goin to slap those on when I was goin to do the spring install, but it'll have to wait... for now.

Hey I put my spoiler on myself too...well I got help ;) from a couple of my guy friends. Actually they own STR Powers...ever heard of them... Performance distrubtors for Hondas and Acuras.... anyhow..it took us about 40 mins and I was so scared I was gonna mess up.. but it's worth it saving the $550( when I bought mines...there wasnt a spoiler and I didnt wanna wait)

In exchange for their help.. they put a STR Powers License plate rim on my G! Now I get a bunch of little hondas and acuras trying to race! LOL.
