The airbag light on my dash started blinking about 2 weeks ago. I do not have a local Infiniti dealer so i took it to the Nissan dealership. They told me the airbag seat emulator on the passenger side was bad and that the sensor was built into the seat and the whole seat would need to be replaced to the tune of $7,xxx just for parts. Anyone else out there have this issue? I found a post that showed unbolting the seat and replacing just the emulator. Has anyone done this?

I found a way on line to re- set the light that stated the light just sometimes would trip but after re-setting my light came back on.
