I'm thinking about a nice set of 19's down the line... Maybe after warranty. I want 275/30/19's in the rear end, and 245/30/19's in the front. All with Toyo proxes T1 rubber. Maybe going with a paint matched center five spoke 3-piece such as HRE's, and the all famous high polished lip. Gotta sport the deep dishes in the back gentlemen! Welcome to rear-wheel drive world! When you begin looking for wheels let me know, I work at a shop in Tempe, AZ called Wheel Specialists. We're a wholesale tire/wheel warehouse and we distribute about 50-60 brands of wheels. Everything from high end to commodity priced wheels. We are an HRE distributor as well as various other multi-piece wheel lines. Antoher wheel you should check out is the O.Z.Racing Superleggera III for that car. We stock it and it is bad. Follow this link to my website and let me know what you think of it. http://www.wheelspecialists.com/wheels/make/oz_byname3.html

Now all you need is wheels

Hey Hotwheels,

Are the prices on your site per wheel, or per set?

Yo Lead, what type of wheels are you thinking about? I am so happy with the factory sport 17's that I don't know if I will even get new wheels anytime soon. I am definitely interested in lowering mine though. People just don't know that aero kit sedans are the true American four door skylines! Keep me posted if you decide to go with lowered suspension and/or wheels packages... Pictures coming soon! I am getting my digicam today...

XZ,

I truly love the wheels that came on our tires. The only reason I'm looking at buying some others is because I'm going to be Autocrossing starting next month and will eventually need some competition tires to be competitive. What was suggested by some veteran autocrossers was to get a nice set of wheels for daily use, and put the autocross tires on the original rims. Of course if I can find some nice wheels that are considerably lighter, I'll do the opposite. I've been checking out the OZ Chronos (which I've always liked), the Enkei RP02-J's and RSF-2's. i'm looking at 18's since I don't want to change too much.

As far as lowering/changing springs and such, I can't do that because of autocross regulations since I will be running in a stock class. I believe it would put me in a different class if I started modding and I'm not quite ready for that yet.

What wheels have you been considering?

The hell happened to my siganture? I just edited my post and it went bye bye... Anyway Lead, I really have always liked the Axis NE-O's since the have a good 19"x 8" size that fit a wide array of tire sizes, plus it's fully machined (I am a fan of machined wheels) and has a deep dish lip. I definately plan on lowering my car first with a set of quality springs before I even consider new wheels. I think the factory 17's would even look bigger and more gap filling with at least a 1.5" drop. The bodykit would look lower too! Your pictures are very nice. Is that executive building a bank or office? Saweeeeeet!

It's the new headquarters of Anadarko Petroleum. The building is less than a year old and it's in my hometown of The Woodlands, TX. Its the tallest building in the Houston area outside of the Houston city limits (32 stories and it's about 30 miles north of downtown Houston).

I thought the huge bronze deer would be a nice backdrop for my pics! On another cool note, the building was designed by the architecture firm where I started my career (Gensler & Associates Architects).

Nice! I think I'm going to do mine in one of many beautiful glass banks along Brickel avenue in the Famous Miami Biscayne Bay area. There are many to choose from, so I will check it out this coming weekend. There's this one building that I really like, the 'Bank Of America' building to be exact (You can see it in all the 'CSI: Miami' TV shows as the big 60-story cylindrical one that is next to the other square taller building with the jagged-looking roof.) This building has a mezzanine balcony accessible by the car parking lot building, and it's 24 stories in the air! With the other buildings in the background, and the Miami skyline, it should be a winner... I hope to have the pics posted by this coming weekend. [jump2] Lead, which website did you use to host your pics?

Take a ladder with you so you can get some nice angles.

OK, here's a quicky photojob of the 3 I'm considering. It's an animated gif so give it some time to show all 3. Tell me what you think.

Of the ones you have in your animated image, the RS5's look the best to me, though I'd recommend going bigger than that image represents.

LOL Nice wheels lead, but please keep it Auto X only! For weekend cruising, you need to go high class again with the OEM 17's, or another classy non-chrome rim. I hate chrome!

XZ,

I'm there with you. I don't like chrome either. I don't think any of those 3 are crome. They should all have the same kind of finish as the OEM wheels (maybe a bit more polished).

chrome = pimp [lol]

Semi,

As far as size goes, I'll probably go with 18's. 19's might be alright but I don't want to stray to much from the original intended size.

Yeah machined wheels are my favorite finish. I love the blade-like shine they have when they spin. Beats the shit out of chrome or painted any day. Another wheel I like is the RH Evolution C2. An original and beauty. I heard it's available in 19" now! Must look sick in a lowered aerokit sedan!

Hey lead, did you check my post about performance parts and warranty? That's phat huh? I'm lowering my G this summer, along with brand new license plate ("G-Rated"), and maybe either the Axis NE-Os or Racingharts. (That's if I don't swap the sedan for the coupe of course.) Patiently waiting for... LOL

Didn't want to sway anyone's opinion, but those were my front runners. I think they look pretty sweet. There's also less surface area for brake dust. LOL

May have to get me a set of those RS5's

How much do you want to spend lead? I wouldn't budget more than $2,000.00 for a set of wheels. (Tires are extra).

According to our new friend in Arizona I should be spending less than half of that.
