History
Just another NJ DD/beater with 183k on the clock. Lots of rust & corrosion, weak clutch, but a strong, reliable VQ35. Money is tight, so repairs are being made as they are feasible. If a cheap clutch becomes available I will make the plunge. Trying to nurse this girl.

Modifications

Drivetrain
Time for a valve gasket job. Oil leaking to coil well on cylinder numero dos. Slight exhaust leak at headers, likely.
Interior
I'm going slightly more utilitarian, less polished than the last guy's G you looked at.
In the fall of 2015 I replaced the driver's window motor DC brushes (oh, the joy that was) and got it working again, but it's still rough. Aligning the tracks are a royal PITA. The sunroof is inactive/unplugged since it hasn't functioned properly in years.
I extended the gear shifter 3" and added a diesel truck exhaust brake switch, which I plan to use as on/off for the VDC (I believe I can use two relays to make it function as a momentary).
The indigo, blue & white LEDs in the dash cluster have since been removed because they flickered way too much. Gauge face has been sanded clear, obviously.
Exterior
Dings, dents, scratches, rust near bumpers; the usual.
I dropped the stock exhaust can since the rust won that battle.. then threw this together for $8 with an angle grinder, vice, pliers and welder. No rattles, sounds great. Simple driveway fabrication FTW.
Audio
Aftermarket Bluetooth stereo and environment controls after they went wonky on my dad a couple years back.
Suspension
Mix-matched; it had a cheap K-Sport coilover setup front and rear, but I'm 50% in swapping to a conservative Tein H Tech with camber and toe corrections, Eibach front and rear roll/sway. I have a complete new poly bushings and sleeves set for the front suspension, but not yet installed because the front sleeves are seized to the suspension bolts.
Wheel and Tire
Stock Sport alloy, curb rashed. Cheap tires that roll.
