There are 2 death metal bands i can listen to and its because the lead singer's voice is pretty damn good.

Killswitch Engage and Slayer

Not that i feel i have to defend death metal to anyone but there are times where it is called for - the gym and aggressive driving.

I listen to every type of music out there. I go through phases where I only want to hear rock, or only EDM, and sometimes only hip hop. Rock seems to make its way around more often than the others.
Lately i've just been loving the sound of the turbo spooling and then the BOV after.

edit:
I lied about "every type of music"
It's all but country. Not my thing. I can do classical though

Well, I am still in the honeymoon phase I suppose, and I have never had a car sound anything close to this.

Don't worry, it doesn't go away. You'll be driving around in the dead of winter with the windows down just to hear the exhaust.

I'm past the two year point of ownership and any chance I get for the windows
down VQ concert ... It's ON !!

I think most others (non G owners) would suspect we've modded our cars to get that sound. I didn't but I'm convinced the Z1 motorsports tube dropped the pitch just a teeny bit lower and it's lovely.

I love the low VQ exhaust sound. I wouldn't call it rumble, but "lovely" sums it up quite nicely.

a set of HFC would also change it to a nice deeper tone. Had it on my first G

Well i bought my HFC off a buddy that took them off his 350 for 100 bucks for the pair.
Did the install myself - so you're around the same dollar amount as i am for a modified exhaust lol.
It really makes a nice sound. I like the Stillen exhaust thats on the new G, but i do miss that G35 factory hum.

If you like what you got for sound, your plan worked.

Me too.
My goal was just going to the simplified straight tube by Z1 and ridding the baffled plastic stock tube. I like the Z1 high polish finish too although I had no idea it would have any effect on the sound (it's slight), I do like it better.
