Default Radiator

I was looking at the Power Enterprise Radiator and was wondering what kind of benefeits or down sides I would get to installing this Radiator. Would it give me more HP or just let everything flow better. Also, has ne1 w/ an auto tranny installed put in a tranny cooler? Does it give ne improvements? Where do I get one?

Unless that temp needle is moving, you don't need it.

Relax those hormones.

An upgraded radiator will just cool your car better. It consists of a better flow design and more area. It's for use on track days i.e. autocrossing because your engine can get extremely hot! You will not see any results in performance, just not a burned headgasket when you track.

A tranny cooler or oil cooler is the same as a radiator. Just helps cool the fluid.

Hope that helps.

Bringing up an ancient post because my radiator is busted, should I upgrade or just replace?

speaking of burned head gasket, has anyone used the thermalnator gaskets?
id imagine that's one of the best bang for your buck hp increases... much better than a radiator, but whats your expierence?

Fix or replace. Not sure about other options but maybe it's about how you use the car or what extremes you put it through.

Did it fail due to age or inadequate service intervals/flush ... ?

going to replace with oem equivalent,

after further review, it is the best option, good call from the beginning

I do have some pics, what is the best way to go from iphone to 6mt.net (a badass site btw)

If no one has experimented with the thermalnator gaskets, I will

hypothesis is: 5%--around 10hp gain
reason: for 50 bucks from enjuk racing (as opposed to full price on sikky) you can keep the air in your intake manifold 25 degrees cooler

Conclusion:________ anybody???

I pulled the old one tonight, fluid was in perfect condition, the car came from a friend, he noticed the rad was leaking, at about a liter per day, and quit driving it. I also looked for oil in the coolant, just in case it had been overheated. and felt none... when I drop the oil, ill check fluids, and honestly I think I will take a sample just to know what is going on for sure

the car also came with headers in the trunk ))))
does anyone have a good link for a engine removal/ header install
--ill be googling--
is there a good wite up for engine removal?

I haven't removed the engine so I can't help you there. But I have replaced my radiator with a generic radiator from the auto parts store. When refilling the coolant follow the directions in the service manual to fill slowly so you minimize air burping.
