There are also coupes from Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini.

I have liked it since it came out. I just read that an STi version may be released.

The car needs a little more hp. Vortec makes a kit but I don't want to buy a 29k BRZ and spend another 6-8k on a supercharger.

I've been eagerly awaiting the BRZ Sti. Really considering buying one new.

There are three cars on my list right now- a BRZ STI, a MazdaSpeed6 diesel (if they make one- would have to be AWD for me to want it) and a g35/37. I've always really liked the BRZ's- just wish it was a little higher quality with a few more ponies.

Let's not get too far out of the context of my statement. I would hardly put Lamborghini and Porsche in the same category as Infiniti, Lexus, Audi and other luxury car makers. Audi has one, so does Mercedes. My statement was just that these don't seem to be the most popular vehicles right now So I'm wondering why Infiniti would choose to add another to their lineup

If they would make something similar to the essence, I would buy it. And I think it would be very popular. It would give them that extra push.

Infiniti must be able to make a profit with low volume sales numbers or why would the EX still be around. They hardly sell any of those, yet they upgraded it to the 3.7 liter motor now.

In response to both ^, I think Infiniti needs a real winner right now. As Gilley said, the ex is lame, also that bloated whale of an SUV (QX) can't sell more than a few units per month. Idk if they should be wasting their putting out new "limited market" vehicles like coupes.
I could see a RWD turbo sedan, smaller than the G. The TSX and ILX seem to be selling well.

Only 2000 EXs are sold a year.

So it looks like there is the G sedan, the JX crossover, and a bunch of losers.

If not for the JX Infiniti sales would be all negative YTD change.

Not sure I like the look of the JX but it might win people over with the comfort, ride quality, interior and features.
It def seems priced right for the SUV or crossover market. After noting how much advertising they are doing though, it might still end up a loss leader.

A RWD manual turbo car would sell well. I wish they would make an AWD manual.
