So lately there has been this metallic clicking/ticking noise that has been coming from the passenger side when my car is moving (03 coupe manual w/ brembos). The best way to describe the noise is that it sounds like as if you have a rock or nail in the tires. I've already check both the passenger side tires and pluck out and rock pebble I could find and it still makes the sound. It doesn't matter if I'm accelerating, coasting, rolling in neutral, going 5mph or 80.

Any ideas on what it is?

I've experienced a similar thing happening with my car, but it only seems to happen when I'm coasting and still in gear. My mechanic said it's probably time to replace the tension pulley. It was a more persistent issue after I replaced a belt as well. You may want to check that, but I don't know for sure.
