Buy a new stud and nut. Pull your wheel, punch out the old nut, install new stud. Pretty simple the only problem is you will probably need an impact wrench to pull the stripped nut.

No way the dealer should charge you $110. I think a fair price is about $40. Ask the dealer to give you an itemized estimate to justify their price....maybe I'm missing where the extra $60 is coming from.

Also, a second estimate would help to see what a fair/normal price for this type of repair should cost.

The best way is to do the impact wrench and just strip out the nut. I'm assuming you don't have one, so I guess that's out of the question. You could try to use the old fashioned elbow grease and just try to manhandle the nut off, but it'll probably be a long and painfull process.

The second option is to chisel out the nut, but it will probably mess up the finish on your wheel. I wouldn't do this one.

The last option is to check out a tire place and see what price they give you to take off the nut and replace the nut & bolt.

well after calling a couple places, they gave me a lower estimate but when i told them it was for an infiniti they wouldnt even mess with it so they told me to go to the dealer ship, so i guess i have to go that route and hope that i get reinbursed for it. thanks for all the help and please for future referencs allways check your wheels and studs infront of the person when they return the car to you.

Sorry to hear that the other places backed on taking off the lug nut.

Thanks for the advice, it's just that most of us don't think these guys should be crappy enough to mess up our cars in the first place. [banghead]
