Default Tein SUPER STREET damper!!!

Currently for the G35/350Z there are only 3 models of coilovers offered from Tein. These models are BASIC, Comfort Sport (CST), and FLEX.

BASIC, does not allow damping force adjustment.
CST, is good for comfort, can be even softer than stock, but is not very suitable for the track as it is too soft.
FLEX, is great for the track, as it is stiff and responsive, but not very comfortable at all for a daily driver car, or a car with large rims and thin tires.

Well, I was just informed that there is actually a 4th model availible. It is the Super Street (SS) model. This model will be a good compromise between the CST and FLEX models. It is softer then FLEX, but not as soft as CST. It also allows for damping force adjustments so you can make it softer for the street and stiffer for the track, as well as being EDFC compatible. The best part is, the SS model is CHEAPER than both the CST and FLEX models.

The only down side is this SS model is a Japan only part. Meaning you cannot buy this from Tein USA. But as a Tein dealer, I can still import these coilovers for us, we just have to wait 2-3mo. for them. I think they will be worth it for those of us that daily drive our cars. Plus we can be exclusive as no one else has these in America.

Who else wants to order these with me?

What price range are you talking about. Also, do they have to drop the car and if so, what is the least amount of drop available? I do not really want much drop or any drop, just a better suspension.

Minimum drop is less than -0.5" drop. Should be within stock height, and half an inch drop. Maximum drop is about -2.0 to -2.5" drop.

I sent you a PM with pricing.

Wow, you have 8" of clearance? Sounds to me you NEED a drop...

My G has about 4" of clearance...

And my MR2 has about 3.5"

WTF!?!?!

You're catagorizing rice by manufacturer? Why is a Supra not rice but the rest of the Toyotas are? Does that mean all Lexus are rice too? Why is your G35 not rice, just cuz its an Infiniti? So if our G35 isn't rice cuz its a Nissan, would that make a Sentra not rice either? A Sentra is better than a Civic? Your blatent statements have no consistancey and make no sense at all...

yea pretty much. All cheap ass cars that look and sound like shit should be categorizied as rice or whatever the hell you want to call it. Your g35 and all of our g35's care luxury cars, not some tricked out prop cars from the fast and the furious. thats why they are not rice
