i really want some wheels but i really wana keep my car on infiniti wheels so i have a few ideas. i have a white 04 coupe so i was wondering how do you guys think it will turn out if i powder coat my stock 18"s in white to give it the white on white look. another option would be swapping my 18's for the new OEM 19"s and powdercoating in white. its either those 2 or just keep it the way it is. let me know your honest opinion please, but with some respect.

The infiniti wheels are not cheap. You could probably by a better aftermarket set for the same price or less. Then you would have to incur the cost of powdercoating on top of that. If you have the $$$, it's an option but not a cheap one. Just out of curiosity, why are you set on keeping stock rims if you have that kind of cash to drop on a set?

well i didn't think it would be that much. alot of people are letting their wheels go for pretty decent prices, and if i let mine go i can get something out of it too. i didn't know powder coating was expensive though. its not really about the money, i just wana keep the infiniti look. i have come to a conclusion that white rims on my white car would look a bit ricey. although black rims on black cars never get hated on.

If you can get a good deal for used rims on ebay or something, go with that. Just make sure they are in good condition. And I have no idea how much powdercoating would cost.

But yeah if you are bound and determined, I'd buy a used set for the experiment.

nah im not determined to get them, thats why i posted this to get some feedback and opinions. i'm thinking about getting the 05 19" OEM wheels, only because they'er 19" and say infiniti on them. i'm one of the few who don't really like how the new 19's looks. i just like how big they are.
