ha, what makes you think that? what other car in history has run close to 7:15 on the berg and also made a good driver???? it's going to be a weekend track car.
even the boxster, which is supposed to be porsche's entry level daily driving car is horrid to ride in.

as for the SC430.....at that price and for what you get in the car, there is nothing else you can get....(hardtop convertible, lux features, etc) no one else makes a car at that price point. go higher and youre in jag, MB territory, go lower and youre in M3, porsche territory, totally different cars from the SC...so it fills a void...lol
btw, I dont like it and I DAMN SURE WOULDNT pay 60k for that POS but I argued with the guys at lexus on saturday and they made some valid points...lol
well i have my own issues with that damned car. lexus says it's competitors are the SL500 and the Jag... both cars are so sporty looking while the SC looks like an SLK (entry level). another one of lexus' made up competitions, where the only place the car wins is price.
and now the hardtop convertible is soo common... even the pontiac g thingy has one. they need to change it around, make a coupe available and make it look a whole lot less froggish!
