So far everyone is talking about the 2008 G35 coupe and when's the arrival etc..I've posted that in one of the threads...Now the secret that you all dont know...hmmm...what can that be....well if i let you guess ..you wont be able too..

INFINITI DISCLOSED IN ITS PARTNER'S (G.M) MEETING EARLY SPRING 2006 HOW THEY WILL BE RELEASING THE ALL NEW G35 IN A HARDTOP CONVERTABLE MODEL...

WHEN WILL IT BE AVAILABLE????

EXPECTED ARRIVAL OF THE HARDTOP CONVERTABLE WILL BE EARLY 2008 OR BY SUMMER OF 2008 AND IT WILL BE A 2009 MODEL. AROUND SAME TIME WHEN NISSAN WILL BE RELEASING THE ALL NEW 2007 GTR. THAT WAY INFINITI WILL CAPTURE SOME OF THE GTR MARKET BECAUSE GTR WILL HAVE ATLEAST A $50,000 DEALER MARK UP AND NISSAN IS ONLY MAKING 1500 GTR THE FIRST YEAR. AND ON THE OTHER SIDE , ON THE HARDTOP CONVERTABLE, YOURE LOOKING AT AROUND $10,000 - $15,000 DEPENDING ON THE DEALERSHIP BUT THE MARKUP WILL FADE OUT...

It was already reported that the coupe redesign would be dropping around spring/summer next year & that the convertible would debut around the same time as the GT-R!!
Oooo... dealer markup, w00t!! Well you certainly gave us some detrimental information on that one, go you!!
I work for ****** & do my job for a living... now the fact that we both are employed is common knowledge, let's move on shall we??

before i would actually pick a G before a BMW, now with the new 335i and their up-and-coming 335i hardtop early next year, it seems like infiniti is playing catchup

its there strategy..
new bmw 3 series comes out..
infiniti brings out new g35..

They did this strategy in europe.. bmw 3 series comes out.. and then the g came out..owned sales in europe.. so u never know..

people have been doing this for years...

the new bimmer was released first, they arent playing catchup, theyre maximizing sales on this design and then perfecting the design of the new coupe

have u driven the new 335i? i've done most of the bolt-ons for the G and when i test drove the 335i i was impressed... it has gobbs of torque initially and pulls strong all the way thro... if i raced one i wouldnt be surprised if i could barely take it and i was driving the auto..

you are an idiot, 300 hp and 300lbs/tq isnt enough for you? not to mention, the torque curve is a straight line unlike the G, max torque at low low RPM.s With a simple bolt on now, ppl are getting low 400 lbs/tq with a simple ECU. YEs thats right. Good luck doing that with a G, good luck beating a 335 i in a race also moron
