I read they decided to have it be a Nissan as they needed a "flagship" model as Toyota is coming out with a new Supra that will rival the Skyline. I guess Nissan figures Infiniti has enough prestige with what its got already.

I am glad they are keeping it a Nissan- thats the heritage of the car. No need to slap on an upscale name to upcharge more ya know?

^^^ Well, most things with this car are pure conjecture- people are making blanket statements about how they know the engine will be a V8 cuz my brother works there, pricing, Skyline Gtr history, etc, etc. Skyline and GTR are unrelated, G35 not being a skyline- the list goes on and on ya know...
