No plans for FI.
My car just happens to run better with the stock box+drop in.
The Stillen doesn't work too well with the spacer and test pipes that I just recently put on my G.
Should have gone with the one piece Nismo Gen. II CAI.
Should have gone with the 6mt.
Sum Ting Must be Wong with you. Like I said before, I would love to have a 6mt but I didn't want to wait for a couple of months. But I look at it this way, I can get a good BJ and not worry about having to shift, instead I just sit back and let the good times roll.

Again......has no one seen The World According to Garp or Parenthood? BJ's and driving just don't mix!

That's interesting. I would have thought that more airflow going into the higher volumn intake collector space would be beneficial, not detrimental. But then, that would be too simple! Makes me wonder if a Injen or Nismo type long tube CAI would be bad as well?

I can't say if an Injen or a Nismo CAI would effect low end. But ever since I went back to my stock air box w/ k-n drop in, my car feels like the biggest bully on the road. 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear feels like a roller coaster. My car truly is a torque monster now.
Dholly, I'm not sure if you're still looking for an aftermarket plenum, but hydrazine's spacer is no joke and way less expensive.
On the subject of spacers/plenum.......I saw something where the 2005's have a revised (OEM) plenum. Have you guys seen that yet? Any idea what the changes are?

I've been watching the spacer threads and have seen the positive comments. Just waiting to see a little more practical application experience and dyno history before making any conclusion. I'm still having a hard time believing 1/4"-3/8" non-tapered spacer all around can accomplish all of the air flow improvement to the front 2 runners that raising the front of the upper intake plenum as much as Crawford, APS, etc. does. I still want to see the APS product.

you'll have to worry about your Girlfriend tripping on your ass...asking why you hired a tranny hooker to blow you in the car! LOL. just kidding.
I've heard most to all aftermarket intakes will increase your top end numbers but reduce your low end torque unless you are running FI. I've always looked at an intake as a requirement to go FI but not so much as a performance mod because who drives their car that high in the powerband consistently. Is anyone else able to shed some light on the subject?
