As of today it hs been exactly a month since I got to drive my car. The last time was on Dec. 26th and the next day I went on vacation. When I got home, there was six inches of snow on the ground for the entire week I was home before I left to come here to Okinawa.
This is just wrong. My right foot keeps twitching and my right hand keeps jutting out to reach for a shift knob that isn't there. Is this what withdrawals feel like?
Some folks keep pictures of their family in their wallet, in your case maybe a few pics of your G would be more comforting when you have these separation anxiety attacks.

How's japan? I bet Okinawa's weather is pretty nice this time of the year. Well, if you can't play with your G's knob just play with yours, 3 times a day and it'll help with the withdraws.
HANG IN THERE JEREMY!!! HEY AT LEAST THE WOMEN THERE ARE PRETTY! NEVER KNOW...JUST MIGHT MEET YOUR BABY'S MOMMA THERE
True dat! The women here are gorgeous. Plus, they think it's funny to hear a big blonde kid speak Japanese like a woman. But no makin' babies!
I'm happy that they understand my Honshu Japanese. I wasn't sure if the people here would primarily speak the Okinawan dialect. But I guess the hundreds of years of mainland Japanese influence has been more than enough time for the language to get a foothold.
And a word of advice to all: Don't try the Habu Sake. That $#!t makes moonshine taste like Zima! It's a bit like drinking rancid tequila.
