Here's the scenario, I'm out at dinner with my parents and 2 aunts that are in town when I catch the smokin hot hostess give me a coy stare. I thought that maybe I was just reading too much into it, but we are exchanging looks all through dinner. Being the overly shy socialphobic that I am, I do nothing... I finish dinner, pick up the check and leave.
So I ask you guys, what would you have done?
Ladies chime in on this too, if you were the hostess and a guy caught your eye how would you want to be approached?

Go back to the restaurant and kick it to her, without the rest of your family there of course.
Kinda hard to spit at her when your relatives are around.

you should've excued yourself to go to the bathroom and on your way to the bathroom you should've walked up to the waitress and got her number. or just tell her that u really wanna get to know her, but ur with your having dinner with your family right now so u can't really talk so get her number and meet her back at the restaruant after she gets off work

you are lucky I use to be a waitress!!! A similar situation occurred...I wasn't his waitress but when I saw that his drink was getting low...I asked if he wanted a refill. But like you, he was with his parents!
However, when he left...his waitress gave me a napkin from him. He wrote "Call me please (digits) Scott".
I called him but he lived way too far for me to date him ;(
But since you blew your chance... you might as well go back there again. This way you'll know if you're reading too much into it or not. Good Luck!
BTW...a good conversation starter is to ask her where the bathroom is! LOL. Always work.
Next time go in and make sure she is your waitress. When she takes your order say, "I'll have 'blah blah', and a side order of YOU" LOL :P I'm not a mack
