Default This F-ing snow is KILLING me.

So I was gone for about 2 weeks visiting family for the holidays and was dying to get back home and drive my car again, only to come home and find out that we got about 6 inches of snow while I was gone.

I didn't want to drive the G in it for several reasons (no snow tires, salt on the road, it'll get super-dirty, etc) so I've been driving my S-10. This morning any lingering thoughts of maybe driving it in the snow were killed when my roommate couldn't even get his '00 Z-28 out of the driveway.

Now I just get to look at it sitting in my garage. No real point to this story just needed to vent.

Both of my cars have snow tires. I find an empty parking lot and practice control during less than ideal conditions and feel how transient maneuvers change weight transfer on the chassis. It's a lot of fun!

Sure the cars get dirty, but with today's materials and finishes I'm not worried about rust.

I hear ya Navy........
Same deal for me. I have only driven my G35 for one day since the end of November. We've only had 1 day since then in Mass. where the weather/road conditions were good/clean enough to drive a nice car in without turning it into a salt-lick.

F$@&in winter!!

Good call! My Prowler doesn't have afterburners but I sure those Pratt & Whitneys could get the job done without them. I can even keep the wings folded so I won't get airborne and so it'll fit on city streets. Now to find away to talk my skipper into giving me a jet.
