Question for you... (presuming you dabble in cosmetic dentristy as well) What is the real cost of dental veneers (cost per tooth) versus your highly-respected professional markup? Somone I know is considering them and the provider is asking $900 each [tooth]. (which most insurance does not cover btw) While I've seen them for considerably less, the dentist cites the quality of the veneer as a difference. Clearly, your level of skill and need to pay off student loans, provide front office payroll and office/equipment rent are legitimate considerations, but on par, is there a realistic difference of 80% or more?

You know I was a Bio major, and I was in the medical device industry early in my career, so I could attest to the "significant" markups.
