I don't suggest you get the V710 though; there have been many problems with them, one of them being the camera lens being manufactured incorrect. If you want a really awesome phone and want to go with Verizon, I suggest you wait for the LG VX 8000, that phone is going to rawk. It's got a 1.3 megapixel camera, plays mp3s, gots EVDO, and many other options. Okay... Do Day 1 was today...Darn I hate saying "Thank you for calling Cingular" Ahh I keep messing up and saying AT&T. LOL.
Anyhow... The new rate plans are not that much better. But the phones are. There are some pros and cons. The new phones have 64K SIM. The rate plans are not good if you go $39.99 or more. But personally if your current service is better then stay cuz you get to keep whatever you have now anyways.
Can ATT customers buy Cingular phones to use w/ an ATT plan now? Ive been looking for a new phone cause I can't have a camera phone at work, but ATT hasn't come out w/ anything non-camera. The only one was that Motorola MP, but I didn't wanna pay $300 for it.

Sorry Marcel .... that's exactly the one drawback I was talking about. You won't be able to use any Cingular phone with ATT unless it's a tri-band phone (like the Motorola V600) which can get unlocked and be used w/ an ATT sim card. Other than those options...if you want a cingular phone...you'll have to switch over to their services and new rate plans.
What do you have right now? Because I think ATT have a samsung that do NOT have a camera and works really well. the X426.
I have a Nokia 3650. Been looking for a new phone since June, but they keep tellin me to wait til some new ones come out because I didn't like any of the non-camera ones at the time. I almost gave up and settled for a camera phone w/ a small lens that I could just hide.
I was just askin cause I saw a cingular commercial the other day w/ the new Motorola Razr V3. I started drooling, but just found out its $599.. haha, thanks for the help! I'll take a look at that X426.
