I guess turdsandwich won huh? Oh well. I really don't care who wins tho, I think everyting will equally be f'ed up whoever wins. Also about the Peterson trial, I have been following the trial alittle bit and there are alot of edvidence against that guy but at the same time alot are circumstantial. I have a feeling that he's going to found guilty.
Say, didn't I hear the Peterson Defense is now steering towards a reduced charge to avoid the death penalty? Isn't that the same as a Guilty plea after all this trial time? And, yea Gard, he's soo... sexy in that bleach blond 'fugitive' look!

Nah Dhollly...Garegos said 1st degree or nothing at all (I think he hoping the Jury won't convict on 1st Degree- so they'll find him not guilty instead) But I think it will backfire.[irk]
The pros was sorry at first...like 'slow' but they ended it with a bang... finally brought out the possiblity that she was either strangled or suffocated. They also showed his "cuts" on his arms that he claims were from fishing...they ask the Jury "Don't you think these cuts/wounds are consistent to defensive wounds?" And how the bodies washed up same area he went "fishing". [?]
I don't think he killed because of his mistress though... I think she found out and confronted him and it went from there. He said she knew and was calm about it. That's a damn lie... any girl who finds her husband/bf cheats will already go balistic[rage]...let alone a 7 1/2 months pregnant woman!!! Hell she'd probably try to kick the shit out of him.
He swears he didn't run away...when the bodies washed up...he didn't even try to find out if it's her and the baby or not...he was in SD-close to the border...with $10,000 in cash and his brother's ID- with blonde hair that he claims was a result of swimming in the pool! [bs]Pathetic Liar. It's true a Liar doesn't make you a Killer but in his case, I think he's both. I hope he gets 1st degree.
I don't think he did it. Why would he give the police an alibi so close to the location that he dumped the body? It doesn't make sense. Because if the bodies ever turned up in that area, then he would be the first to be blamed. Something is fishy in this whole case.
Maybe he f'ed up and told them the location on accident. Maybe he thought that someone would have noticed him in the area so he had to tell them the location so it wouldn't look suspecious. At any rate he probably figured the bodies were not coming back to shore since he dumped them in the ocean (eaten by predators) and he weighed them down. Little did he know.
I think he is guilty. Way to much strange behavior before and after finding the bodies on his part. The 10g, the border, blonde hair, selling of the car before knowing if she was gone or not, not really worried that she was gone before Christmas...
Princess is probably right - she found out about the affair and being pregnant and all, went ballistic on him, fight broke out and he probably accidentially killed her in the fight. Then being scared of that he paniced and dumped the body.

Well the circumstancial evidence is strong but the procecution doesn't have any solid evidence but sometime all you need is circumstancial evidence. All I know is God will judge him in the end.
Jay...he had to tell them he was in the Marina cuz he did go there (to dump the bodies) He had a ticket stub- if he lied... they'd find out anyway. He has no other alibi. AZ is right, he probably weight her body down and didn't think it was gonna come back up. And it would not had it not been for the storm!
Second... when he reported her missing...he asked if they would use cadavar dogs...etc. If my husband was missing, I would never think that he'd be dead...I would still hold hopes that he's still alive (unless I already knew he wasn't alive)He told his mistress he "lost his wife" and that it was gonna be the first christmas without her(while she was still alive)!!! All he got her for Christmas was a wallet? While he gave his mistress his wife's jewerlies? He wasn't planning on having her around. That's not premeditation? Of course there's a chance he just said those things and never intended on killing her, but she's dead and someone got rid of her body...that's the premediated part. If you accidentally kill your wife..you should call 911...He decided to get rid of her body.- He's a cold blooded murderer..that baby could of survived..but he let it die too! How cold and sad is that!
If he didn't do it...who else would? Geragos is an idiot... how are you gonna go on live TV and say "any rookie prosecuter can nail Peterson" then within days take the case and say you changed your mind now that you have seen the evidence! That SOB is going to hell too! If someone really tried to frame him and dumped the bodies in his publized alibi...how come no one saw it.. and why bother go through all that trouble..there's a hundred and one ways to frame Peterson without dumping the bodies in the bay and waiting for it to come up for so long! Please! I hope he gets convicted on 1st degree...but there's a chance he'll get 2nd degree if they Jury dont believe it was premed.
I agree with your sentiment G35Princess, he's one guilty SOB!
I never understood the whole leave your 7-month pregnant wife on x-mas eve to go fishing? Wasn't that his alibi, that he was fishing on x-mas eve and came back to find she was gone? Then why did he try to sell his truck so fast, go to San Diego with $10K cash, have his brothers ID, bleach his hair, etc...? None of it adds up...GUILTY in my book. Problem is though you have to convict without a reasonable doubt. That is the problem with our judicial system, if you have even the SLIGHTEST doubt, you can't convict.
