That is the problem with our judicial system, if you have even the SLIGHTEST doubt, you can't convict.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">Perhaps that is the real beauty of our system - only thing worse than a guilty guy walking is an innocent who's freedom is taken away in error...[8D]

Those jurors got kicked off cuz they decided to do their own investigations and considered things that were not presented in court. The guy was Guilty. The Judge was fair. That bastard deserves this.
There is no way he could have thrown her out of that little dingy and not tipped it over. But the jury convicted him, so I guess that means he is guilty. But OJ is still not guilty.
Garregos's guy had to try 3 times to get the boat to start to fill with water. Not to mention that he could have easily thrown her off of the front or back of the boat without tipping it. I don't know enough to say that the guy did it, but that argument is weak.
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider: this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk, but Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now, think about that. That does not make sense!
Why would a Wookiee -- an eight foot tall Wookiee -- want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense!
But more importantly, you have to ask yourself: what does that have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!
Look at me, I'm a lawyer defending a mass murdering fuckhead, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca. Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense. None of this makes sense.
And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation... does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense.
If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
He did. The arguement that someone else did it to frame him is weak. Why go thur all the trouble (consider the police were searching the bay) to dump a weight body to frame him? If it was not for that storm, the bodies would not have washed up.
And Garegos DID NOT even showed up for the verdict! Nice way to treat your client! I wonder what was more important than the reading of the final verdict. And his display of that boat with the dummy still in it a few blocks away from the courthouse was such a low-scum sickening act.
OJ's case was different...the damn pros screwed up on the evidence handling and a bunch of other stuff. In this case...the evidence was all there and they convicted him properly. That bastard was a coward...to kill your pregnant wife and your unborn baby...that's just cold!
I don't understand the obsession with this case. I've worked on over a hundred homicides and many were a lot more interesting than this one. I guess it's the result of the media force feeding it down our throats until it spills everywhere. I can't wait until it's a distant memory.
