Man, that was in Vegas. I recognize the corner of Sahara and Las Vegas Blvd.

I guess that's the epitome of someone with nothing to lose. He probably would have caught a couple of .40s to the chest if that was my car though.

Wow. Im suprised he hasnt gotten shot yet. Do that to my car with me in it, and you'll see what road rage is.

Explorer is good for runnin someone over. I woulda backed over him in reverse when he got behind me. Pinch him between the two cars, then get the iron and beat him with his own weapon.

What's the law anybody? You're in fear for your life, boxed in and can't get away, so you get out of your car with weapon drawn to protect yourself and the guy comes at you swinging... if you shoot to kill, are you going to have to put up with his homies in the pen for the rest of your life, or is it justified self-defense?

shoot him in the leg to incapacitate. if he draws a weapon, points it at you, you can shoot to kill.

This sound correct, gard?

If you are justifiably in fear for your life i.e. he is approaching you with the crowbar in a manacing manner immediately after assaulting your car you are justified in putting him down. You only shoot to kiil, there is no shoot to wound.

That about sums it up, your first choice must be flee, get away if you can. You have do your best to get out of there, I would blow my horn and even push the car in front of me to try and get away. Then and only then, if I could not get away I would deadly force to stop the threat. That might be a gun or even just the car. After that I would call 911 if possible and ask for an ambulance for the attacker and call for the police to arrive. The only words out my mouth when the police arrived would be "That guy was trying to kill me, thank God you came to help me, I thought I was going to die.". I would then ask for my lawyer and make no more comments.

A nicely placed shot to the chest would stop that pos. One more example why concealed carry should be allowed everywhere.

If I owned a PT cruiser I would definately enjoy the total loss insurance payout to buy a different vehicle. That sucks what that guy did but, there is light at the end of the tunnel for this PT owner. []

Sounded like she tried honking alright, but the car ahead couldn't move because of busy cross traffic. If she pushed the car in front of her into traffic and THAT person got hurt, she may elude the attacker but get slapped with a huge lawsuit. Sigh, sometimes the victim can't win. [!]

Years ago, I had a friend who awoke to the sounds of a burgular in his home. He grabbed his 12 gauge with 00 shot and went down stairs yelling. When the guy was running toward the door, he turned and fired a round back into the house. At that point, my friend let one go too. Hit him in the ass and leg as he went thru the door but the problem was, no blood or bullet evidence inside the house. For a while there, he was in a boatload of trouble, and I would hate to think what would have happened if he killed the guy.

"Your honor, I move to admit Government Exhibit Number One into evidence. The prosecution rests."

I love cases that can be successfully presented in one, nice, short paragraph. Sure, yes, there would be some other technical niceties that would still need to be addressed (time, location, etc.), but shoot, with evidence like that, it doesn't get much easier.

Am I missing something, or is committing a serious felony while you know that you're being videotaped a really, really dumb idea????
