Default 38K for a Z!!!

I was at the Nissan dealership to change my tranny fluid and my oil and I was looking at the New Z roadster and that sh!t was 38K!!! That cost more than my G35. WOW I didn't know that the roadster was that expensive.

Heh, I was talking to some 350Z owners at The Driver's Edge, they apparently paid nearly as much for their touring/track version Zs as we pay for a nice G35 6MT.

Interesting.

Oh, that's just great, give a $500 discount off MSRP - then add back $4,100 in 'accessories'!? No big surprise I guess. Stopped by the Chevy dealer to peek at the new C6 tonight. They have a Red 6-spd coupe on the floor, damn nice, supposedly one of only 400 in this particular to-be-discontinued shade of bright red, and it had a big +$5,000 "market adjustment" sticker right on the windshield! A-holes!

Hey... thats supply and demand. Market will pay it, so they sell it.

I remember when the s-tweezy first came out, it was going for 20+ above sticker at the dealers around atlanta.

I hate convertibles that are not Hard-Top!!! I think it's Ugly.

When I thought about the S2000- I was gonna get the aftermarket hard top. I can't stand that two color crap! UGLY!!!

doesn't the Track Model start at like the same as our G? I believe the Track model is the only one that comes with the brembo brakes

Yep, the Track model is the only one with Brembos. Most people forget that we '03/'04 6MT Coupes get them. Stock.

I think the opposite when it comes to the S2000... I think the roadster "makes" the s2000. A hardtop just wouldn't do it. Now as for other cars... I totally agree. Like what the hell was toyota thinking with a convertible SOLARA? Or the A4? Damn those are ugly. The 350Z is iffy... the Z is sexy period.. so although the roadster isn't the best look. Its still sexy.

I like the Z roaster with the top down. It's darn sexy but when the top is up it's just whateva.

I was going to get one of them but dollar for dollar, you actually got more from the G35 than you did for the Z. Don't get me wrong, no top would have been nice but the G35 came with so much more, including a back seat, and was less money. I wonder what a topless G35 would look like? Granted the rear trunk would be completely useless.
