My roomie sent me a different RC drift video a few days ago. Makes me want to goto my parent's house, slam the buggy, gas her up and take it driftin. (rc buggy) I just have to find my controller... I dunno where I put it.
I have two rc cars...they just sit in my garage and do nothing. If anyone is even remotely interested u can buy them off me and everything I have. Its an E-Maxx and a T3 stadium buggy.
Ha! I didn't know you were into R/C as well Eldy. I use to race em myself.
Yup, that vid was one of my favorites. I just can't believe R/C caught up in this whole 'Drift' business too. You see the special drift tires they sell now? [bigeyes]
I haven't seen one in person. In the video they mention PVC tires... is it just plain PVC without a grippier tread? I had an old OS .12 engine and that would probably just sit there spinning the wheels if it were PVC on concrete.
Every asian has had at least one R/C car in their lifetime
Man... I didn't read the post first! - just watched it and thought they were real cars still I saw the people...and was like WTF [bigeyes]...OH Shet they're RC! [lol]
I always wanted to play with those but I was a 'girl' so I always got barbies instead!
Yes, some people stumbled across some PVC pipe for drifting, then Yokomo caught on and decided to make something more elegant. It is essentially a tire with a couple of very narrow tread bands on it (minimizing traction).
