Default Women and golf...

I found this very interesting. Latest controversy...should women be allowed to play on the Mens PGA tour??? Vijay Singh apparently doesn't think so...thoughts?

I saw this yesterday. I think it's fine if women want to compete with the men. That said, I don't think there needs to be an LPGA if they are going to compete with men, them step up and compete on an equal footing, not one where you can flunk out and go back to the LPGA.

I think any private group should be allowed to have anyone they want in their group.

I don't believe there's any such thing as a mens PGA. There's the LPGA which is all women and the PGA which doesn't specifically mention gender, it's just always been all men.

She got the invite from the PGA, so let her play.

A very valid point.

Agreed. But the PGA isn't a private group and they have no rules against female participation. THEY invited her. It's some random jerk off player making this comment which is ironic as he isn't white and wouldn't have been allowed to play in most golf clubs not too long ago.
