Im too late, but I prefer PS2 simply b/c of the games (GTA series comes out on PS first, GT series will never be on xbox)
Since the main game I play is gran turismo, I wouldnt buy an xbox unless it was to accompany, instead of replace, my console.
Friends have xbox, its cool, but controllers are clunky for anything other than driving games.
