Whats going on there? Ride and Drive? I'm clueless...but I like the Gs! Are u peeling in the last pic? I see smoke...niiice! [] Nice Car Ru exactly what I want..with graphite interior but...sadly the 05s don't have the graphie interior on the IP.
made my weekend ... so much fun. The Bimmer handled well as expected and the Subaru did incredibly well ... throttle response felt a bit disconnected but handled quite well. Volvo ... I love how comfy the seats are for long trips but everything else sucks. It was a BMW 325 (sedan & wagon), Volvo V70, Volvo S60, and Subaru Legacy (sedan & wagon). All the people riding along were professional race drivers. I got lucky cuz I went with a friend and all the other cars in my group had 3 people/car plus the instructor but it was just me, a friend, and the instructor so I got to do 2 laps in a few cars. We let the instructor take us around the handling course in the Bimmer for the last lap and damn was that fun ... he's a sprint driver and prof drifter. So much fun for free
edit: I thought I was a pretty good driver ... it's humbling once you sit in a car with a pro
that smoke coming from me would be me shifting into 2nd....me and ck had a few drag races in the adjacent parking lot afterwards ... he kicked my butt ... repeatedly
Way to go, Ru! I still think back on my runs and am so glad I got to do it. About 2 wks later, I got a letter from Subaru offer me VIP status to buy any car off the lot at invoice, including the WRX Sti. Sure wish I needed one.
eh ... my first manual I've ever owned ... I'm still trying my best not to push the car too much and that was the first time ever launching the G so I was having trouble getting a good launch ... oh well, still good fun

<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">It was a great time!! He was spinning his tires quite a bit for the first few times, but was getting progressively better. It was a great place to race because you heard tires squealing in the background from the Ride and Drive event, so the sound of squealing tires wasn't as incriminating.
Well, in Ru's defense, I've had a little more practice since I bought mine after it had already been broken in and didn't have to wait to put the hammer down. I'm just glad that I didn't have to race ggirl with all of her mods!
