The lesson to be learned here is that GMC Yukons are tough SOBs...jk
More seriously, I think this guy should be laid out in the road and run over by his own truck with that bare rim...right at the knees.
Anyone who thinks this isn't that big of a deal because no one was hurt should think about what this situation might have looked like if this happened earlier, say 8pm when there might have been people walking around and kids playing.
Here is another article on this same incident. I had to check it out because it seemed way too outrageous at first. Now I am just plain pissed. http://www.nbcsandiego.com/traffic/3419879/detail.html
At least it sounds like they found the bastard!

BTW, the tally should also include one electrical transformer, which probably knocked out power for a few families to make their day even better.
Yukons are very tough... I dont understand how someone can be so drunk they dont realize they are hitting everything in sight.
Even when im fall over drunk... I have the sense to not run smack into things. He either wanted to destroy everything, or was on something in addition.
Incredible, that jerk's rampage had to be on purpose. Did you notice one of the smashed cars had tape holding the door shut or the glass up, whatever, it's the least of the owner's worries now.

Anyone ever see the clip of the guy who stole the tank (sherman I think)... That was crazy go nuts.
If I saw a guy doing this... Im not sure what I would do... Id either go the other direction, or run towards him. (if im really drunk, id probably stand there and drink more).
Im not sure how I would react. Depends on if hes waving a gun. Which could explain the lack of driving skills... If hes waving a gun, Id go the other way. I dont need any more lead in my diet.
Im rambling... this always happens after I excercise too much.
