Default Diet progress

I started last June 6, 2004 at 316 pounds.

As of this morning I am 305 with a personal goal of 240 pounds.
I am drinking plenty of water, cut out deserts, bread, rice and pasta. Eating plenty of meat and salads now trying to keep the carbs low.

Way to go Gard. Maybe Brit will give you a ride in his new Elise, as incentive to reach your goal.

Great job Gard! Make sure you get 30 continuous minutes of exercise 3 times a week. It makes a big difference.

Nicely done, Gard... don't you hate not being able to "eat" though?

Hmmm!

P.S. A little trivia...Why do the bubbles in a glass of Guinness beer go down instead of up?

Kick ass Gard! [clapper]

Are you incorporating ANY kind of exercise into your diet? Make sure you get your protein at every meal (4 - 6 throughout the day is optimal) too.

That's the trouble with diets (especially Atkins)--splurging once a week ruins it. You have to keep to the diet 100%.

That's why you have to eat everything in moderation plus if you are exercising regularly it's EXTREMELY helpful!

My exercise now is walking, and I am fixing my garage up.

Great job, Gard...keep up the good work! Just make sure you don't have caesar dressing on your salad (or lightly dip your salad in your dressing to limit the amount of dressing).

Yikes! Screw the food tips, something much more important is at stake here. RUN, don't walk, that Yellow Lilly Cream bedroom paint right on back to the paint store. What the hell is next, some lovely peach splash silk chiffon semi-sheer's for the windows? Damn Gard, the garage is MAN'S domain! First you trade for a BUG, and now this...anyone else getting worried?
