Actually they are both the same speed in stock form. I have a F12X and it has the ride plate mod and grate, and I pulled away from them, but very slowly.
I dont like it at all. Ive always had skis and I decided to buy another one this year and I drove one of those and the Sea Doo RXP which is faster than that by a LITTLE and a Sea Doo XP. The Honda was the least favorite of all of them. The RXP was fast on the entire RPM range but it is big and im someone who loves to make my ski dance and handle so I went with the XP.
The XP tops out at 62, the Honda at 63, and the RXP at 65 so I thought big deal, Ill sacrifice a little top end for something that can handle better than any other sit down.

Ummmm nooooooo not the same in stock form. In fact no where close.
Here is watercraft world, may 2004 shootout results....
Werent PWC's heavily regulated recently - limiting minimum distance between craft and pwcs and other boats/craft.
I was looking at purchasing a polaris about... 6 years ago... but decided to modify my truck at the time due to the restrictions on PWCs.
I know in georgia they have been regulated heavily in the last 10 years. Seems like it would be more difficult to have fun on one now, if the patrols are jerks about it.
Especially since I was stock and beat a GP1300. I know a professional racer named SusanGPR and she races skis, especially yamis. Well, she also told me the Hondas are about the fastest thing out there.

Well she lied to you. Magazines for PWCs like that dont lie. And when the RXP came out at the Jet ski show down south and it was first revealed, me and the owner of the Jet Ski shop I used to work at got to go down there and drive it. We ran against both Hondas, the Sea Doo XP, the Sea Doo GTX 4tec and a couple others and the RXP handled them all. Maybe the person you raced against didnt push it or had a messed up ski or somethin i ono.

The person would never lie to me. She is sponsored by alot of dealers and brands. She knows her stuff. Anyways, I rather have a Honda over those, due to reliability. I haven't done a thing to mine except a oil change, not a problem. Plus it is one of the fastest skis on the lank most of the time. Hasn't been beaten yet.
Don't trust everything magazines say, just like car magazines, whoever pays more, gets the winning spot.
