I have to agree with the majority here. If I'm allowed certain rights and if the ownership and exercise of those rights do not directly harm others than I'll be damned if anyone or any organization, be it my gov't or any other, tells me that I cannot do or own something. I believe that goes against the foundation of what this country was built upon.

There's a reason why Americans courageously jump at defending "our way of life" unlike most others around the world. It's because we have these inalienable rights unlike most others around the world. If we strip that away from us, then what makes us any different than China or N. Korea?

Since you too have rights 240 you can certainly choose not to own a firearm, but please don't confuse the fact that you made a choice of not owning one to that of someone telling you that you cannot own one. It's completely different. The gun guys here know that I'm not particularly into guns as I've just about seen enough of them, but I do know when my rights are being taken from me in front of my face and I sure won't stand idily by. Hope you won't either.

Do you honestly believe, to stay true to form would result in a better government? Let me put it another way, if the "republicans" stayed true to its form, would this Lehman Brothers crap had happened? If the Democrats stay true to its form, would it have prevented this? The truth of the matter is, we need to be a hybrid of it all. In order for it be fair, we need a little of it all. We talk down on socialist acts, communist acts, and capitalism....Truth of the matter is we need a little be of it all for it all to work right. North Korea doesn't have an option, China doesn't have an option, and CUBA doesn't have an option. I remind you, none of YOU live in those countries and for good reason...
I too believe in compromise in gov't. Heck, I think democracy is just the best compromise out there. It sure ain't prefect, but it damn well better than the other forms of gov't you mentioned.

I believe I saw a chart that has the Right wing extreme like anarchy. No government at all.

The left wing was all government and you could not poop with asking big brother.

The best is what most found, someplace not too far on either side.

I'm more right than left. I don't need Biden telling me it's patriotic to pay more tax.

If his followers believe that, check off a form on your tax return to add another 5K more in your taxes to the Biden patriot fund.
